A beautiful synopsis of the treasures of the Dordogne Valley by Hannah Minkley

The wonderful thing about the Dordogne Valley is that each season is so different. As one flies over the Dordogne Valley, before you land in our local airport, Bergerac, one is struck by the ever changing seasons and the patchwork “quilt” of different colours that each season brings. Sandy shades in autumn and winter to the beautiful variation of greens in spring and summer. Our patchwork canvas acts as a backdrop for the lovely honey coloured stone buildings, many with the typical Périgorian sway roofs.
